Our research is focused on the following areas:
- Understanding the basis of specificity in protein-nucleic acid interactions
- Computational methods for RNA structure prediction
- Computational methods for predicting the function of DNA domains, such as promoters, transcription factor binding sites, exons, introns, etc.
- A recent interest is in using expression array data to help in modeling genetic regulatory networks
